Spring... Finally!

Spring has been a little reticent this year. Last year she was brash and hot, this year, shy and cool. But finally,  praised be, she has arrived with all of her sweet and airy perfumery and brilliant shots of colour.

What an absolutely glorious day we had here in Toronto today! And what better to do on such a wondrous Sunday than to take a long leisurely stroll through some of the city's older, grander neighbourhoods, and to catch the first grand glimpses of our long-awaited season of new life and new beginnings!

Easter Monday, and Winter's Return

Well, yesterday was Easter, and part of a lovely, spring-like weekend. Today, is Easter Monday for those lucky few who have it as a day off. And Winter refuses to go quietly into the night.

I refuse to succumb to the doom and gloom, however. Spring is just a little a little shy. I'm sure she'll be back to make her grand (re)entrance in a few days. Meanwhile, a few pics to tide us over until Spring's return... including, of course, a couple pics of Easter lilies from Allan Gardens!
